Have fun in the Park with your Pooch! Dress up your Dog & yourself for Halloween fun

LOCATION & PARKING: The Doggie Fashion Parade Halloween Party is presented by People for Palmer Park's Palmer Park Unleashed Team at the new Palmer Park Dog Park at 1655 W. Seven Mile Rd.

Park at the 12th Precinct Detroit Police Station lot at 1441 W. Seven Mile Road and walk west on the side walk adjacent to Seven Mile to get to the Dog Park.

Prizes will be awarded to all pets who show up (costumes encouraged by not required!), and special prizes for creative costumes, fur coats, and behavior! Every pooch is a winner. Trick or Treat Doggie bags will be provided to fill with treats we will give out and free refreshments available for our pets' humans.

During this event, you must have your dog on their leash, please!

REGISTER IN ADVANCE:

To save time at the event, please Pre-Register your dogs for the Palmer Park Howl-o-ween Doggie Fashion Parade now by scanning the QR code or clicking here! Costumes not mandatory (but they are fun!).

Program:

• See you on Sunday, October 27 by 1:45 pm. Check in between to get your dog accustomed to her/his surroundings, to get your entry number and sign your registration form. If you have pre-registered you will just need to sign in when you arrive. We will give you an entry number to attach to your clothing! 

• 2:00 pm: Line-up for the parade and pre-judging 

• 2:15-3 pm: Each dog will get her/his moment of glory as they parade in front of the crowd and judges

• 3:15 pm: Judges announce winners who will come up to the stage to accept their prize and award certificate

• 3:15-4 pm: Open playtime and socializing, refreshments and informal planning for future doggie events and programs
